Acqua Cell

Hydrating fruit extract complex that works immediately to moisturize skin and minimize fine lines within 2 hours.

Algae Peptides

Peptides are small molecules that can penetrate the barrier of the epidermis and have an impact on the dermis, or deeper layer of skin.

Algae peptides are a unique extract from the Hawaiian Sea that have a component called hydroxyproline-amino acid that is rarely found in the skin except within its own collagen.

Aloe Vera

Alpha Hydroxy

The chemical description for the group of acids that includes glycolic, lactic, and malic acid is Alpha Hydroxy Acids, or AHA’s. By far the most commonly used of the AHA’s is glycolic acid. Lactic acid is also an effective exfoliant, but since it is not as popular, partially because glycolic is considered the more effective.

Alpha Lipoic Acid

This antioxidant ingredient protects against the unsightly skin changes that we see with cellular oxidation, the breakdown that occurs when molecules known as free radicals form in the skin as the result of a variety of environmental insults, including sun exposure, pollution, smoking and alcohol use. Free radicals contribute to cell aging and increase cancer risk, due to changes in the cellular nucleus.

Camphor

Camphor oil is the oil extracted from the wood of camphor trees and processed by steam distillation.

It is effective treatment for acne. It’s also listed as an aid for other oily skin conditions. And the American Botanical Council also lists camphor as a known acne-fighting substance.

Chamomille

Ancient medicinal herb native to Europe.  This daisy-like flowery botanical is ultra soothing, aroma-therapeutic.

Chromabright

Is a unique photo protective brightening agent that protects skin from free radical damage caused by UV and HEV light (blue light). Skin firming marine peptides support skin’s collagen while providing hydration.

Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is a highly saturated oil that is traditionally made by extracting the oil from raw coconuts or dried coconut kernel.  Coconut oil have antimicrobial properties that can help protect against harmful microorganisms.

Eyeliss

This trademarked ingredient is a recipe of active peptides which lessens the appearance of dark circles and shadowing under eyes. Additionally, other active substances in Eyeliss can minimize saggy appearance and restore smoothness and firmness to the skin. EYELISS (INCLUDES DIPEPTIDE-2, PALMITOYL TETRAPEPTIDE)

Glycolic Acid

This ingredient ranks as the most popular of all the anti-aging ingredients, and with good reason. It is one of the AHAs, and a big part of its popularity is based on effectiveness — to which most glycolic acid users will attest. it works as an exfoliator.

Glycolipids

They are the layer of natural protective fats that cover a newborn baby’s skin. They are diminished by sun exposure and time, and by extensive exfoliation. All methods of exfoliation, where we are accelerating the loss of the dead cell layer, result in less skin lipids. A drier climate, or even just the dryness caused by a dehumidifier or air-conditioning, As we age we our lipids lessen. Many of my patients complain that certain drugs also make their skin noticeably drier and rougher.

Lilac Stem Cells

Red Sea Algae

Derived from a species of algae found on the coast of the Hawaiian Islands, Hawaiian Red Algae is a rich source of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants.

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic acid is a substance that is naturally present in the human body. This amazing humectant holds one thousand times its weight in water. You can think of hyaluronic acid as a wafer sponge that fills and plumps out your skin.

  • Accelerates healing

Jojoba Oil

It is a shrub from the deserts of Sonora (Mexico) and Mojave (USA). Penetrates the skin very well and has antioxidant properties. It is considered a very valuable product for preventing wrinkles and neutralizing free radicals. Skin may feel more supple and feel smoother and softer after use.

Papaya Enzimes

This tropical fruit contains the enzyme papain which is a common ingredient in skin bleaching creams. Papaya preparations work best if you massage them into the skin and leave them on for several minutes and then rinse.

  • Dissolve dead skin from the surface and in the pores.

Salicylic Acid 2%

Known as beta hydroxy acid, or “BHA”, it cleanses pores and is a very effective exfoliator of the skin’s surface, making it an ideal ingredient for skin rejuvenation. Salicylic acid is generally non-irritating and well tolerated.

  • Decreases the appearance of pigmentation. (as in age spots and melasma).
  • Minimizes large pores and reduce acne lesions.

Vitamin C

Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) is found naturally in foods such as citrus fruits, tomatoes, potatoes.  Is an essential (water soluble) vitamin, meaning that your body can’t store it. You need Vitamin C for the growth and repair of tissues in all parts of your body. It helps the body make collagen, an important protein used to make skin.

Micronized Zinc Oxide

This zinc ingredient is nearly invisible and does not impart a pasty or white appearance when applied to the skin. It is the active ingredient in almost all diaper rash ointments. We tend to think of these zinc products as heavy and almost sticky. The good news is that both zinc oxide and titanium dioxide have been available in so-called “micronized” and cosmetically acceptable forms for the past decade.

 Why is zinc oxide such a valuable sunscreen? It is a wonderful physical sunscreen, which means that it simply reflects ultraviolet light from the surface of the skin.
